Southport Developmental Football will offer Tackle Football (11 vs 11) to compete in the Central Indiana Bantam Football League (CIBFL.) CIBFL offers structure and competition to SDF, Inc. participants.
CIBFL Rules for each division is available under the Resources Tab on our Main Page. According to league officials, all games are approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours long.
Practices will start the week of July 8th!
MANDATORY WEIGH-IN FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IS FRIDAY, AUGUST 2nd at Beech Grove Middle School. If a participant doesn’t attend the mandatory weigh-in, they will not be able to play in the league. Please plan accordingly.

We will have a Combine to determine skills and player information then select teams for the 1/2 Division, 3/4 Division, & 5/6 Division.
Players registered for this program receive:
- Game Jersey, Pants, & Socks (Player Keeps)
- FREE Helmet & Shoulder Pad Rental (Player Turns Back In)
What to expect?
- All divisions play at the same place on the same day - All games are on Saturdays!
- Potential Saturday Game Schedule - 1/2 play at 10 a.m., 3/4 play at 11:00 a.m., & 5/6 play at 12:00 p.m. (Times will vary!)
- 7 game regular season and a end of season tournament!
- Games will start August 3rd and the season concludes with the Championship, Saturday, October 5th.
- Southport will host 3 or 4 Saturdays throughout the season and we will have to travel 3 or 4 Saturdays.
- ZERO parking or gate fee!
- Concessions will be available for all home games!
All games hosted at Southport will have a first game start time of 1:30 p.m. Away games start times are at the discretion of the home field.
