2019 SHS Homecoming

HOMECOMING 2019 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please plan on joining us for the Southport Homecoming Festivities onFriday, September 13th at Southport High School. The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. Anyone participating in the parade needs to be on the WEST SIDE of Southport High School by 5:00 p.m.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

We need someone to drive trucks to help lead our programs! We will need a NFL Flag Truck, Youth Cheer Truck, and Junior Cardinals Tackle Truck. Not all participants will be able to ride in the trucks, so we will need some volunteers to walk alongside of the trucks with participants too.

We will need streamers, candy, etc. to decorate trucks. Also, any parents willing to make signs for the kids to carry would be great too!

Lastly, this year, there is NOT a football game on Friday night. It is on Saturday. Instead, Southport is doing a festival in the baseball field area where we practice. They would like us to do a "carnival" style game during the festival. We will need volunteers to "run" the game from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

As you can read, we need some volunteers desperately to help us have an enjoyable night! I would like to have a Point Person to talk to parents and ensure coverage. If you can assist or help lead, please respond to this email, talk to Coach Feilen, or sign up now -VOLUNTEER FOR HOMECOMING!
