Southport Developmental Football, Inc. is excited to announce Head Coach opportunities for the upcoming Junior Cardinals Tackle Football season. As a proud member of the Central Indiana Bantam Football League (CIBFL), our program is built on a strong foundation of player development, sportsmanship, and community leadership.
At Southport, we believe football is more than just a game—it’s an opportunity to teach life lessons. Our coaches play a vital role in shaping young athletes by emphasizing teamwork, accountability, respect, and effort. We are looking for dedicated leaders who are passionate about developing players of all skill levels while creating a fun, inclusive, and competitive environment.

Interviews will take place during the weeks of May 10th and May 17th.
This structured approach allows us to connect with candidates who align with our mission and are committed to leading by example both on and off the field.
What We’re Looking For
Our Head Coaches are expected to:

Attend the Coaches Clinic Series - June 29, June 30 & July 1

Lead with integrity and uphold our Code of Conduct

Provide organized practices and structured game plans

Ensure all players are included and developed throughout the season

Communicate effectively with players, families, and league leadership

Create a positive and energetic team culture
Most importantly, our coaches understand that success is measured not just by wins, but by the growth and experience of every player in the program.
