2020 CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY

For the first time in Southport Developmental Football history, we have a team competing in the Championship game for the CIBFL! We are extremely proud of this Senior B Division team! This past Saturday, the Junior Cardinals took the field and faced off against Bartholomew County in the Semifinals.

The Junior Cardinals took the first possession and went 70 yards down the field for an opening drive score. Xavier Harmon led the way with multiple big plays running the ball. After the score, the defense quickly shut down the Bears offense with the Cardinals flying to the ball. Xavier Hoffman led the defense with multiple plays in the backfield. The offense chipped in another score and the defense kept the pressure on. The mighty Junior Cardinals played fast and together with many players making plays! The Junior Cardinals advance past the Bears, 14-0!

Come out and support the Junior Cardinals as they take the field in the 2020 CIBFL Championship next Saturday (10/24) at 5:30 p.m. at Triton Central High School!
