2025 FALL Youth Cheer (CIBFL)

STARTS IN JULY!

Southport Youth Cheer will provide participants an opportunity to build a foundation of cheer basics. This foundation should provide growth and boost confidence learning the fundamentals of cheer. We are also focused on family and will ensure that if a participant in cheer has a sibling/family member on a tackle team; the participant in cheer will cheer for the team of the sibling/family member.

Participants will practice during the week and cheer at the Junior Cardinals football games during competition in the Central Indiana Bantam Football League. Tackle Program games last approximately an hour. Practices for the cheer program should last approximately an hour and will be Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays determined by your coach.

2025 FALL Tackle Football (CIBFL)

STARTS IN JULY!

REGISTER FOR THE GRADE THE PARTICIPANT WILL BE IN FOR FALL 2024!

Southport Developmental Football will offer Tackle Football (11 vs 11) to compete in the Central Indiana Bantam Football League (CIBFL.) CIBFL offers structure and competition to SDF, Inc. participants as well as a true developmental approach to the game of football!

CIBFL Rules & Guidelines will be posted to the website as soon as they are available. According to league officials, all games are approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours long.

MANDATORY WEIGH-IN FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IS REQUIRED! If a participant doesn’t attend the mandatory weigh-in, they will not be able to play in the league. Please plan accordingly.

Players registered for this program receive:

Game Jersey & Pants (Players Keep)
Helmet & Shoulder Pad Rental (Players Turn Back In)

Players need to purchase prior to Mini-Camp (June 25th):

Practice Jersey, Practice Pants, Socks, Cleats & Mouth Piece (Not Provided - Must Wear To Play)

We will have a Combine to determine skills and player information then select teams for the K/1/2 Division, 3/4 Division, & 5/6 Division.

What to expect?

All divisions play at the same place on the same day - All games are on Saturdays! (Travel will be required to other schools - schedules will be released in a timely manner to assist with planning.)
7 game regular season and end of season tournament!
Practice starts July 8th (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays - 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.)
Games will start August 3rd and the season will conclude in October.
Southport will host 3 or 4 Saturdays throughout the season and we will have to travel 3 or 4 Saturdays.
ZERO parking or gate fee!
Concessions will be available for all games!
